This is an adventure-packed 2-day trip that will take you to a stunning active volcano – Mount Ijen.
During this 2 day trip you will be using a comfortable private car with an experienced driver to ensure your safety. You will also be accompanied by our friendly guide to explore the stunning volcano of Mount Ijen . Expect interesting stories about the volcano and insight into the local life.
Begin your journey with midnight pick up from Bali area and head to Java Island. Recharge your energy with a night sleep at the hotel between.
Have an early wake up and continue the journey to Mount Ijen, Marveling at its sulphuric blue lake surrounded by mountains and its simply mesmerizing blue flame phenomena which sets a magical ambiance around this mystical place.
At the end of the trip you can be dropped off to Surabaya/Malang or back to Bali if you plan on continuing your adventure to Bali.

Pick up from Bali all area and head to Gilimanuk Port (it takes around 4 to 6 hours depends on the pick up location)

Arrive at Gilimanuk and cross to Java Island with a ferry (Ferry takes approximately 45 mins)
14.00 (Java time; Java is 1 hour behind from Bali)
Head to hotel in Banyuwangi area

Arrive at the hotel and have some rest

Wake up and head to Mt Ijen

Mount Ijen climbing (it takes at least 1,5 hours – 2 hours)

Witnessing the Blue Flame and sulfur mining (the blue flame cannot be seen once the sun rises, so we must go at midnight).

- You can take your luggage with you during the trip! No need to worry about leaving it behind or lugging it around separately. Our guide will accompany you as you climb up Bromo while our driver takes care of guarding your luggage safely inside the car.
- When it comes time for drop-off, there are a few options available depending on your plans. We can drop off anywhere within Surabaya / Malang Area or Bali as stated on this tour program
- If you want to arrive in Bali earlier, we recommend you to take flight from Juanda International Airport in Surabaya to Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar.
