Stop 1, Tumpak Sewu — Descending Into a Real-Life Jurassic Park
Okay, full disclosure! This isn’t your average chill weekend waterfall trip.
Standing at the rim of Tumpak Sewu at dawn, you’re staring down into a massive 120-meter curtain of water crashing into a lush green gorge. It literally looks like a scene straight out of Jurassic Park!
Just around the bend, explore the moody, mineral-rich cave of Goa Tetes. It’s a wild, soaking adventure and magnificent scenery that is worth every step!
Stop 2, Mount Bromo — Surfing the Sea of Sand
Leaving the jungle heat behind, the landscape does a complete 180 as you pull up to the Mount Bromo
Roll out from bed straight to viewpoints to witness the golden sunlight pierce the clouds. And if you are lucky enough, you can actually see Mount Semeru puffs smoke in the background!
Then comes the fun part, hop to your private 4WD Jeep and go across the Bromo’s Caldera known as Sea of Sand and end your journey with climbing 250 concrete stairs and hear the roar rumbling from inside the Mountain!
Stop 3, Ijen Crater — Chasing Electric-Blue Fire
The final boss of East Java requires some real grit—and a midnight wake-up call.
Trek up the freezing dark atmosphere while covered by the stars. Once you reach the point you will witness the Nocturnal Beauty of Mount Ijen—Blue Fire! That is totally worth every step!
As the sun finally comes up, the smoke clears to reveal the world’s largest acidic crater lake shining in a blinding turquoise color. It’s tough, it’s surreal, and it’s the ultimate grand finale to a bucket-list run!
