OVERVIEW
This is an adventure-packed 2-day trip that will take you to not one, but two stunning volcanoes – Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen.
During this 2 day trip you will be using a comfortable private car with an experienced driver to ensure your safety. You will also be accompanied by our friendly guide to explore the 2 stunning volcanoes of East Java. Expect interesting stories about the volcanoes and insight into the local life.
Begin your journey with midnight pick up from Surabaya or Malang. Our guide and driver will pick you up using a comfortable private car. First destination will be the magnificent Mount Bromo volcano with its stunning sunrise and landscape. Recharge your energy with a night sleep at the hotel between.
Have an early wake up and continue the journey to Mount Ijen, Marveling at its sulphuric blue lake surrounded by mountains and its simply mesmerizing blue flame phenomena which sets a magical ambiance around this mystical place.
At the end of the trip you can be dropped off to Surabaya/Malang or Ketapang Port if you plan on continuing your adventure to Bali or even better, directly at your Bali hotel (for an additional cost, of course).

- If you wish to do the tour on your arrival day, make sure to book a flight that arrives in Surabaya at 22:30. You are also recommended to arrive in Surabaya/Malang a day before your trip D-Day, allowing more rest before your exploration.
- If you are from Yogyakarta, we suggest taking a train that arrives in Surabaya at 22:30. Choosing a train provides faster, cheaper, and a more comfortable transfer. Click here to book your train tickets.
- Worried about your luggage? Don’t worry! Our driver will be in charge of guarding your luggage in the car while our guide takes you around Mount Bromo & Madakaripura Waterfall.
- For drop-off, we provide multiple options depending on your plans. From Surabaya, Malang to Ketapang Port or Bali Hotel if you plan to continue your adventure to Bali (with additional cost).
- From Ketapang Port, it takes approximately 1 hour to cross to Bali, and Bali is 1 hour ahead of Java.
